2nd edition of KOKUTAN’ART : a model order form with general conditions of use for photographers
The workshop on the theme “Contracts in photography”, led by Gouadi-B.-Koussiama was a rich moment of exchange on the relationship between professionals of author’s photography and their clients.
The photographers mentioned several problems that on the one hand, do not facilitate the good understanding with their client and on the other, do not contribute to the development of their profession. It is in particular, about :
– non-recognition, non-valuation of their profession;
– fraudulent use, misappropriation of their works;
– difficulties to be remunerated rightly, to recover the payments;
– Difficulties in asserting their rights in cases of litigation.
Thus, AxeK-Consulting proposed to the professionals of the author’s photography, a model of order form* with general conditions of use (to be adapted by the latter according to the cases), which they welcomed. This document is the beginning of a solution to promote a better relationship between photographers and their customers.
