Born in Brazzaville (Republic of Congo), Alegra is a singer, dancer, actress, performer; draughtswoman, painter, photographer and designer.
Winner of the Cosplay competition of Bilili BD festival in 2017, she participated in the 6, 7 and 8th editions of the International Contemporary Art Meeting (RIAC) organized by Les Ateliers SAHM.
From she obtains two awards: an artistic research grant offered by Garage Aarau (Switzerland) and participation in the Ravy festival in Cameroon.
She takes part in the 14th and 15th editions of the International Festival of the Theatre of Mantsina on stage.
She gets a second role in “Bac or Mariage” a play written by Fifi Tamsir NIANE and directed by Bill Kouélany.
After several performances of painting she presented her first solo exhibition, in April 2008, under the title “the force of nature” (diary of a trip), at the restaurant-bar “Le Cosy”
On March 8, 2019, she also participated in the exhibition of “Women Artists at the French Institute of Congo (IFC) in partnership with Les Ateliers SAHM.
Passionate about design, she recently created her own brand By ANCKA.
Interested in the photo, she questioned her apprehensions and took a fresh look at herself through the self-portrait.
In December 2019, Alegra presented his second solo exhibition “Planète Nocturne” accompanied by a performance at the Ateliers SAHM.
On October 10, 2020, a collective exhibition is organized by Les Ateliers SAHM to inaugurate its new place where, she dazzles the room with a beautiful dress made of surgical masks, as well as several charcoal, acrylic and paper collage works.
She currently composes her own music.
