Karel has been in love with dance since a very young age and has inherited this passion from his dancing parents.
He decided to professionalize himself in this field in order to immortalize the name of the family.
Since 2013, he has been choreographer for the Krump dance group called ARMEE STREET.
Karel participated in the 6th RIAC where he was introduced to video art and performance.
From this experience acquired from renowned artists such as Aimé Pane and Nathalie Bikoro, the artist today mixes these two mediums that put his body at the center of his creativity.
With his company Cap Congo, Karel made an international tour.
Winner (with Sam BB) of the special award of the “Les Ateliers SAHM” at the 7th RIAC.
Karel was in Madagascar for a research and creation residency in 2018.
