Born in Douala, Franco-Cameroonian Françoise ELLONG is a scriptwriter and director of several feature and short films.

It began in 2008 with a novel entitled «Diary of a murderer» published by Publibook Publishing and a 7-minute short film «MISERIA» which won the Prix de la Technique at the Disturbs Award.

During her career she has won several awards, as was the case with her first feature film in 2014, «W.A.K.A» which received the Special Jury Award (Khouribga 2013, Morocco) and the Dikalo Award of Encouragement for a First Feature-Length Filmat the 2013 Panafrican Film Festival in Cannes.

From 2008 to the present day, the young lady has constantly invested herself in her passion, her latest work as a writer and director entitled «Buried» is currently in post-production.
